Diet and exercise can help keep stroke at bay: Dr. Lokendra Singh on World Stroke Day

Dr. Lokendra singh is the Director of CIIMS Hospital, Nagpur. He has almost 30 years experience in the field. He is the only Neurosurgeon in country with three qualifications in the subject of neurology.

He completed his MBBS degree in 1980 followed by MS (Surgery) in 1984 from SMS Medical College, Jaipur, he then competed M.Ch (Neurosurgery) in 1988 from PGIMER Chandigarh, followed by DNB (Neurosurgery) in 1990 National Board of Examinations New Delhi.

He then pursued his FRCS (Surgical Neurology) in the Intercollegiate Exam. Board in
Surgical Neurology, Edinburgh UK, and underwent certified training in Neurosurgery in The Royal College of Surgeons of England, London.

He has invented and patented two neurosurgical devices.

He was aware the Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International, in 2008, the ‘Excellent achievers award 2012’ by Indian Muslim Graduates Foundation, and also the Prestigious ‘Vidarbha Seva Samman’ Conferred on 8th August, 2013, among various other achievements.
